Wasn't it not long ago Cena was in a big feud with Punk? And now he's sucking up to him like he's his best buddy?
I know it's post show so it's not too terrible, but get a grip WWE. Can you imagine Austin doing this to Rock, or Bret doing it to Shawn?

I guess you don't understand that feud was in storyline and they're cool with each other in real life, Punk has said good things about Cena in interviews

Off camera? Yes. Austin and Rock used to joke around pretty out of character after TV went off the air all the time.

It's sad how the IWC hates on Cena. The kid has developed into a solid wrestler and a great leader in the ring. He's saved so many horrible interview spots during the weekly guest celebrity era of Raw that I've lost count. His ring work has improved dramatically.
People seem to think that if he was gone tomorrow, the WWE would be back to the attitude era. We call those people stupid marks. Cena doesn't decide the direction of WWE any more than you do. He's just the guy that was there and was able to take the ball and run with it. And for the money and fame he has, each and every one of you would have done the same thing if you had the chance.
And one other thing - Kane's promo was too long and too boring. Not a troll, not a fact, just the opinion of someone that's been watching this stuff for 25 years.

Cena, in character, said similar things during their feud on television. He's said he respects Punk and even went so far as to say Punk's the only guy on his level. This little speech is 100% consistent with on air stuff.
